Kodak Retinette Model 022 German Edition, 35mm Film Camera - Working and Film Tested
Introduced in 1954, the Kodak Retinette Model 022 is a surprisingly sturdy camera for the era, an all metal construction with a dependable Schneider - Kreuznach Reomar lens. With an all manual operation the camera employs an unusual mechanism for managing aperture/shutter ratios as well as allowing full manual setting of both, along with zone focussing.
This is an unusual camera to find in such good condition and has been cleaned and film tested, please see example shots from this particular camera included in the gallery (ISO400).
This camera is in reasonable cosmetic condition, consistent with it’s 75 years of operation, showing a fair amount of wear externally including to the black ‘leatherette’ covering which is intact and showing no signs of peeling from camera body. The front element of the lens has some hazing which is not affecting image quality and it’s clean and smooth internally.
